How does it work without uploading my file?
We use a technology called WebRTC to create a direct, encrypted data channel between the sender's and receiver's browsers. The PIN system uses a minimal database (Firestore) only to exchange the "addresses" needed to create this channel. Your file never passes through that database.
What happens if I close the browser tab?
If the sender or receiver closes their tab, the connection is broken and the file transfer will stop. Both parties must keep their browser tabs open until the transfer is complete.
Is there a file size limit?
Theoretically, there is no hard limit imposed by the app itself. However, transfers are limited by your browser's memory and performance. For very large files (many gigabytes), the browser may become unstable. It's best suited for moderately sized files.
